What is Microneedling?

Procedure
We apply topical anaesthetic to maximise your comfort during the procedure and numb the skin using a cream. It will normally take up to 20 minutes for the topical anaesthetic to work and 20 for the treatment.
Microneedling is described by most patients as uncomfortable rather than painful. The newest types of derma pens we use in clinic cause the least discomfort as they deliver treatment extremely quickly using vibration.
Duration & Longevity
The appointment lasts approximately 45mins
A skin consultation will be done prior to micro needling to assess suitability
We advise a course of 3 treatments up to 6 weeks apart for optimal results
Downtime
You may experience redness and mild swelling which settles within 48hrs. You will be advised to apply sunscreen regularly and avoid extremes of heat and cold, exposure to the sun, saunas, sun beds and vigorous exercise for 48 hours.
It can take up to six weeks before visible signs of regeneration and repair are seen and the process will continue over the following months, providing you with a natural and long-lasting enhancement.

Couldn’t be any happier with Dr Mirali!
I have had masseter botox done with her a couple of times, and since I had a great experience, I felt confident to do my first filler treatment with her.
I had noticed that in the last few years my under-eye area was looking more tired, and wanted to do something about it.
Having been to other injectors in the past for masseter botox (didn’t have very good experiences), I had been told I could do tear trough filler to improve it.
Dr Mirali assessed my face, feeling the bone and muscles around my eye and explained that because of the oedema I have around my eyes, that would not be recommended as it could make it look more prominent and give the impression that my eyes bags are worse.
Instead she suggested we did filler in the mid face to improve the volume loss that has happened over time, which is what made my skin around the eye fall and look tired.
The procedure was explained perfectly with all the risks and possible complications before she started. I felt super safe in her hands the whole time and even when I felt a bit faint she was so kind and empathetic, I felt so comfortable. She checked that I had good blood flow to area right after the treatment and checked on me afterwards to make sure I was doing well. I only had very minor discomfort and swelling but not even noticeable.
The results have been amazing! People that know me don’t even notice what treatment I had done, they just say I look like a had a very good night sleep!
I’m so glad I found such a good professional, she clearly loves what she does and is very knowledgeable.
It’s scary when you have so many people offering procedures that would not have worked for my type of eye.
I look forward to using all of the skincare she has recommended and see the final results in a few months to a year!

I went to Dr Mirali when my dentist thought it might help with my jaw pain. I was willing to give it a go because my jaw ached all the time and it was limiting what I could eat. I found Dr Mirali to be calm and professional - she explained the botox procedure clearly. Although the actual injections were quite painful, it was over very quickly. My jaw felt much more comfortable within a few days and I've now been pain-free for 3 months. Botox injections are quite expensive, and I don't know when I'll need more - but I definitely would spend the money with Dr Mirali again. Very happy with the service and the results! ????

The skin consultation was really good! The way she communicated with both me and my mum was impressive. She did a deep dive into my skin issues and explained how to take care of my skin in a straightforward manner. I appreciated that she focused on a routine instead of jumping straight to chemical peels, which is often what other consultations do. It’s so important for clients to understand the basics first, and I feel like she did a great job at implementing a routine that suits my needs and my mum needs. Dr Mirali is fabulous - had a great consultation ahead of getting masseter botox. I was really keen to book her because of her GP background, and I felt in safe hands the whole way. Dr. Mirali has been a godsend. I saw her last winter and again in the summer. She uses a very individual and personalized approach to coming up with a plan for her every client. Her conservative yet effective approach to aesthetics is exactly what I was looking for. She takes a holistic view of treating your skin through a comprehensive regime as well as treatments.She is very thorough and explains every step and every procedure. Dr Mirali is fantastic, and takes the time to explain every part of the process in a professional manner. In less than 6 months she has helped to improve the qualify of my skin significantly (I had lots of hyperpigmentation from acne scaring), without damaging the integrity of my skin. She is enthusiastic about what she does and it shows with how much care and effort she puts in. My skin has always been something I was self conscious of without make up, but she’s helped me restore my confidence.
